Lane County applied to the State of Oregon on Friday to begin Phase I reopening as early as May 15.
There's no word yet on whether the application will be approved.
But if and when it is, what does that mean for local businesses?
The Springfield and Eugene Chambers of Commerce released a "Back To Business" guide to help.
The guide "is designed to offer reliable guidance in an easy-to-follow format with the small business owner, manager, and personal service provider in mind," according to the Chambers. "Included are best practice tips and resources, as well as comprehensive state-approved guidelines announced earlier this week for retail establishments, restaurants and bars, outdoor recreation, personal services, hospitality, and also for general public."
